      Description

      Resolves Speedometer Issues. The Sierra 1500 Vehicle Speed Sensor converts the rotational speed of your gearbox into digital data and transmits it to the electronic control unit (ECU) in your truck which then relays the info to the speedometer. So, if your vehicle no longer reads the correct speed, a new sensor may be required.

      Robust Components. A Silverado 1500 Vehicle Speed Sensor features a durable plastic construction that will withstand the rigors of everyday driving. Internally, the sensor takes the rotational speed of the transmission and converts it into a low voltage square wave signal, and relays it to electronic the ECU.

      Simple to Install. The installation of the Silverado 1500 Vehicle Speed Sensor is a straightforward process. The sensor can be easily installed by following the included instructions. First, remove the old sensor and discard it. Clean the area around the sensor to prevent debris from entering the transmission where the new sensor will be installed. Align the new sensor with the hole and gently push it into place. The pre-installed gasket will make sure you have a leak-free seal. The entire process should take only a few minutes to complete.

      Meets OEM Standards. Each Silverado 1500 Vehicle Speed Sensor is manufactured to OEM Standards. This means it is designed to match the fit and function of the original sensor on specified vehicles. It is also engineered for durability and reliable performance.
