Compared to other cold air intakes in the market, this cold air intake delivers more air to your engine, resulting in bigger horsepower and torque gains.
Tuning Is Required. To ensure that this cold air intake will perform at its best, you need to perform an ECU retune. Also, by performing a tuning process, you can avoid Check Engine Lights (CEL).
With a Pro DRY S Filter. This cold air intake comes with a Pro DRY S Filter. This air filter consists of a gray synthetic filter media that does not require oiling. This type of filter offers an easier cleaning process and requires less maintenance.
Black Aluminum Intake Tube. To withstand your truck’s tough driving demands, this cold air intake is built with an aluminum intake tube. This enables the cold air intake to withstand your truck’s elevated temperature without failing or breaking. Furthermore, the intake tube comes in a black powder coat finish that serves as an extra layer of protection against rust and corrosion.
Direct Installation. Setting up this cold air intake requires a direct installation. With its bolt-on design, you can directly mount it to your vehicle’s factory mounting points. However, to ensure proper installation, a moderate to a high level of mechanical expertise is required.
Not CARB-Certified. Currently, this cold air intake does not have a CARB certification. Therefore, this product is not allowed for sale or use within California and other states with similar emission standards.
