Handles High Horsepower. The Motive Performance 8.5-Inch and 8.6-Inch Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit – 4.30 Gears is the ideal replacement for your GMC Sierra 1500. It was designed to handle high horsepower and intense torque from racing engines, so it is made for off-roading and racing vehicles.
Meets High Standards. This gear and pinion kit is made to last with high-caliber, first-run steel and is never manufactured from recycled material. The manufacturer has designed and engineered this kit to meet high standards and exhibits superior strength from the computer-controlled heat treatment. The gear has an 8.5-inch diameter and 10 ring gear bolts. There is a 4.30 ratio of drive shaft rotation to each one-wheel revolution. The differential case design types are GM 8.5 and GM 8.625 and the pinion ensures first-rate performance of the gear with its 30 splines.
Basic Installation. This gear and pinion kit can be installed with general mechanical knowledge and basic hand tools. You can download an instruction guide from the manufacturer’s website.
