The Motive Performance 8.5 in. & 8.625 in. Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 3.73 Gears are an excellent OEM replacement set that will perform most tasks, be it towing a boat or commuting, with ease.
Precision Engineered. All of the ring and pinion gear sets that Motive Performance manufacturers go through rigorous quality control and testing. They only use 8620 first run steel in their manufacture and utilize computers to accurately and precisely control the heat tempering process that hardens the gears.
Installation Notes. This is an involved installation. To do it you will need the proper tools and knowledge to perform the job, if you don't have either then it is recommended that you take these parts to a certified mechanic and have them do the job.
