      Description

The Moose Knuckle Offroad XL Shackle/Mohawk 2.0 Receiver Combo; Red Rum/Detonator Yellow combines a robust 10,000 lb rated tow shackle with a high-strength receiver, engineered to make vehicle towing and recovery safer and more efficient. Designed for easy use with synthetic ropes and straps, it prevents over-tightening and provides convenient release options when knots become stuck.

      Construction and Appearance. The tow shackle features carbon steel construction with a powder-coated finish in a variety of durable automotive colors, complemented by a warm forged 6082 aluminum receiver anodized for weather and UV resistance. The receiver’s design includes smooth large-radius edges to reduce abrasion on recovery gear and distinctive spined perimeter detailing.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, utilizing existing 7/8 inch pin holes and standard 2.0 inch receiver mounts. Adjustments are enabled through multiple hitch pin holes and included spacers for varied configurations and towing needs.

      Application. Fits universally with most 2.0 or 2.5 inch D-Ring tow shackle receiver hitch bracket mounts featuring a 7/8 inch pin hole and mount widths of 1-1/2 inches or less, suitable for a wide range of vehicles and towing setups. Some adaptation may be required.
