Description
Tool-Less Recovery Shackle. The Moose Knuckle Offroad Jowl® Split Shackle® 3/4 and Mohawk 2.0 Receiver Combo in Atomic Silver/Black Hole is engineered to speed up vehicle recovery through quick, tool-free attachment of recovery ropes or straps. This innovative design eliminates the need to remove the shackle from the vehicle, streamlining off-road recoveries and minimizing trail downtime.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. The Jowl® shackle features a forged 5-ton rated chromoly steel body with a durable powder-coated finish in popular truck and Jeep colors. Its machined Grade 8 carbon steel pin is black nickel plated for enhanced wear resistance. The Mohawk 2.0 receiver is warm forged from 6082 aluminum, anodized with a weatherproof silver finish, and detailed with laser-etched logos, combining ruggedness with refined styling.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward using basic hand tools such as a 1/4" ratchet and the included socket adapters, with no drilling required. The design facilitates quick attachment or removal by loosening only a single screw, making on-trail adjustments simple and convenient.
