The Moose Knuckle Offroad Jowl® 3/4 Split Shackle® and Mohawk 2.0 Receiver Combo; Atomic Silver/Black Hole combines a patented split recovery shackle design with a durable receiver for fast, tool-less vehicle recovery. Designed for off-road enthusiasts, it simplifies connecting tow ropes and straps without removing the shackle from the vehicle, improving efficiency and safety during recovery operations.

      Construction and Appearance. The shackle is forged from 5T carbon steel with a powder-coated finish available in multiple colors, while the pin is black nickel plated high strength Grade 8 carbon steel. The Mohawk receiver is warm forged from 6082 aluminum with grain flow orientation for enhanced strength, featuring a silver anodized finish resistant to UV and weathering. Protective rubber pads and nylon isolators provide quiet and secure mounting.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, using metrical cap screws secured by standard 1/4-inch ratchets and included hex adapters. The design allows fast attachment or removal with only one screw needing to be undone, suitable for trail-side adjustments.

      Application. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required to ensure compatibility with specific 2.0 or 2.5-inch D-Ring tow shackle receiver hitch mounts with appropriate pin hole dimensions and mount widths.
