Description
Increased Engine Efficiency. Your vehicle’s downpipe is one of the most important parts of the exhaust system. The MBRP 4-Inch XP Series Turbo Downpipe will increase your engine’s efficiency by directing the exhaust gases from the turbine housing into the exhaust system. You can also count on improved mileage and gas gains.
Improved Exhaust Sound. This turbo downpipe will produce an enhanced exhaust sound that will make your vehicle sound brand-new. The exhaust tone you get with this turbo downpipe is much better than that which stock units produce.
Race-Only Product. It’s important to remember that the MBRP 4-Inch XP Series Turbo Downpipe can only be used for racing. It’s not suitable for daily driving on roads, highways, and public streets.
Reliable Construction. This turbo downpipe is constructed using mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel, so it’s built to last underneath its natural finish. With a 4-Inch diameter, it allows for maximum flow and improved performance.
Bolt-On Installation. This turbo downpipe requires a direct bolt-on installation. It’s supposed to be mounted directly on the turbine housing. You’ll need mounting bolts and installation hardware for this installation, which are sold separately.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. The MBRP 4-Inch XP Series Turbo Downpipe comes with a limited lifetime warranty from MBRP. This warranty protects you from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own the product.
Application. If you drive a 2003-2004 Dodge RAM 2500 vehicle, you’ll be able to install this turbo downpipe. Keep in mind that your vehicle needs to be equipped with a 5.9L Diesel engine to be compatible with the downpipe.
Installation Difficulty. You will need 30 minutes to 1 hour to install this turbo downpipe. Moderate mechanical skills and proper hand tools are required for this project.
