      Description

      Essential Recovery Safety Device. The MAXTRAX Rope Dampener is specifically designed to reduce the risks associated with kinetic recovery ropes during vehicle recovery operations. By absorbing and dissipating energy in the event of rope failure, it minimizes recoil and potential injury. For optimal safety, weighted materials are placed inside the dampener, which is connected directly to the recovery system near the fuse shackle.

      Construction and Appearance. The dampener features durable sleeves made from rugged fabric that securely hold weighted materials such as sand or water bottles. Equipped with secure clip closures, it ensures reliable performance and high visibility during use.

      Installation. Installation is quick and straightforward without the need for drilling. Simply fill the sleeves with weighted materials, attach the dampener to the rope loop using the MAXTRAX Fuse Shackle, and position it near the fuse shackle to ensure proper function and safety.
