Boost Your Handling. Boost the handling and aerodynamics of your Sierra 1500 when you install the Max Trac 3 to 4-Inch Front / 5 to 6-Inch Rear Lowering Kit. This lowering kit gives your truck a more streamlined profile that not only looks awesome but also gives you better control, especially when cornering. This lowered stance is especially ideal for dedicated street-driven trucks.
High-Quality Rear Lowering Shock Absorbers. This lowering kit includes a pair of lowering shock absorbers for the rear. These shocks by Max Trac feature a twin-tube pressurized gas design and a larger diameter piston. This design offers excellent damping performance while also greatly reducing the chances of cavitation. Additionally, these shocks come with chrome-hardened piston rods for superior strength.
Heavy-Duty Front Lowering Coil Springs. One of the components providing your truck with its lowered stance is the pair of lowering coil springs. These coil springs feature a progressive rate design and are manufactured from heavy-duty spring steel for strength. Also, these springs receive a tough black powder coat finish for corrosion protection.
Robust Drop Spindles. To ensure your truck’s steering geometry is maintained at near factory levels, this lowering kit includes a pair of drop spindles upfront. These spindles are designed to compensate for your truck’s steering geometry with its new lowered stance. Additionally, these spindles are cast from high-grade ductile iron for durability and are finished in a protective black powder coating.
Brawny Upper and Lower Control Arms. Another set of components helps realign your truck’s steering angles, and these are the steel upper and lower front control arms. These cast control arms offer exceptional strength and include new high-quality control arm bushings and ball joints that are outfitted with grease zerks for easy maintenance.
Rigid Rear Shock Extenders. A pair of shock extenders are included to take care of the rear suspension. These extenders work to relocate your shocks in an optimal manner, guaranteeing an ideal damping performance. As for the components' durability, these shock extenders are precision-fabricated from steel for strength and are finished in the same black powder coating as the rest of the components for optimal corrosion protection.
Rear Flip Kit. This lowering kit also includes a rear flip kit which is one of the main components responsible for lowering your rear. This kit achieves this by “flipping” your truck’s axle in relation to its leaf springs. Doing so doesn’t just lower your rear, but also maintains ideal suspension geometry.
Professional Installation Recommended. Installing this Max Trac lowering kit will require expert-level mechanical skills, as well as some specialized tools. As such, professional installation is recommended.
