Description
Designed for Lifted Trucks. This Max Trac Rear Shock for 1 to 5-Inch Lift is designed for Dodge RAM and RAM trucks with a 4-inch lift range. With a 29.5-inch extended length, this rear shock will stabilize your rear suspension system and ensure a more comfortable and balanced ride.
Gas-Charged Twin Tube Shocks. Max Trac manufactured this rear shock with an upgraded nitrogen-charged twin-tube and pre-damping design that improves shock absorption for more comfortable handling and reduced oil aeration. As a result, reduced oil aeration prevents wear on your shocks and ensures adequate damping for better handling across the life of this product.
Chrome Hardened Piston Rods. This rear shock makes a name for itself thanks to its larger diameter and chrome-hardened piston rods. These piston rods ensure a tighter seal of internal nitrogen gases to reduce oil aeration and leaks and ensure your rear shocks are always performing at their best. Additionally, the chrome-hardened surface also resists rust and cracking from extreme pressures for exceptional durability and years of heavy use.
Bolt-On Installation. This rear twin-tube shock comes with mounting hardware that allows easy bolt-on installation without further modification.
Application. This Max Trac Rear Shock for 1 to 5-Inch Lift is compatible with all 2002-2018 2WD Dodge RAM and RAM 1500 models.
