Description
Product Overview. The Max Trac Rear Shock for 4-Inch Drop is engineered to deliver a precise suspension response for vehicles lowered by four inches, ensuring proper shock absorber operation and maintaining ride quality. This shock is designed for rear suspension systems where lowering improves vehicle stance and handling.
Construction and Appearance. Built from durable steel, this shock features a twin-tube design for enhanced performance and longevity. It is finished with a black coating that provides corrosion resistance and a sleek, professional appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and generally does not require drilling. Proper orientation is essential, with the shock body installed at the bottom and the shaft at the top. The included sleeves accommodate standard mounting bolts for a secure fit.
Application. Designed to fit 2009-2017 2WD RAM 1500, as well as 2013-2017 RAM 1500 HFE and R/T models. Wheels wider than nine inches or with less than 4.5 inches of backspacing are not recommended, as use with such wheels may void the manufacturer’s warranty.
