Description
Universal Federal Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter, HM Grade, 2.50-Inch, is designed to effectively control vehicle emissions while keeping the check engine light off. It features a universal design suitable for a wide range of applications and ensures compliance with Federal EPA standards for OBDII federally registered vehicles.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, this catalytic converter offers excellent resistance to corrosion and long-lasting durability. The clam-shell body includes durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds, a stainless steel finish, and an attached aluminized steel heat shield for enhanced protection.
Installation. Due to its universal design, installation requires professional welding. The compact and lightweight construction allows for installation in confined areas. Note that clamps, hangers, gaskets, and mounting hardware are not included.
Warranty. This product comes with limited emissions and construction warranties to ensure quality and reliability.
Application. This catalytic converter is universal and fits a wide range of vehicles. It is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York due to local emissions regulations.
