      Description

      California Compliant Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; California Grade CARB Compliant; 2.50-Inch; Rear provides an effective emissions control solution designed to keep your vehicle’s check engine light off. It is intended as a replacement part for vehicles operating under strict California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations, ensuring legal usage in California and other CARB-compliant states.

      Construction and Appearance. Built with high strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing, this catalytic converter offers excellent corrosion resistance and a long service life. The clam-shell body design features a durable stainless steel finish and is assembled with 308 stainless steel MIG welds, including a single laser fusion weld to minimize leaks. It incorporates a ceramic substrate for efficient emissions control and comes with an aluminized steel heat shield attached for added durability.

      Installation. The universal design allows installation in various locations and orientations on compatible vehicles. Professional welding is required during installation, and no clamps, gaskets, or mounting hardware are included.
