Description

Heavy Duty Tie Rod Upgrade. The Kryptonite Products Death Grip Outer Tie Rod Ends are engineered to replace the factory tie rods on 1999-2006 4WD Sierra 1500 trucks equipped with centerlink steering and OEM taper tie rods. These tie rods improve steering toughness, durability, and reliability to withstand extreme off-road and heavy-duty use. They help maintain precise steering control even under the demanding conditions typical of lifted or modified trucks.

Construction and Appearance. Manufactured with heat-treated chromoly nickel outer studs and bulletproof all steel inner ball sockets, these tie rods feature a solid 1 1/4 inch hexagon steel body. The entire assembly is black powder coated for corrosion resistance and durability, finished with precision laser engraving for identification and quality assurance.

Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and no drilling, but modification or alteration of the sway bar end link may be necessary due to the oversized tie rods. The product is designed to directly replace stock components on lifts that utilize larger diameter tapers and lift spindles only.
