They replace the factory tie rods in centerlink-equipped half-ton trucks, ensuring enhanced strength and reliability under demanding conditions. Vital for maintaining precise steering control and vehicle safety, these tie rods withstand extreme stress and wear.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured with heat-treated chromoly nickel outer studs and all-steel inner ball sockets, these tie rods boast a solid 1 1/4 inch hexagon steel body. The entire assembly is finished with a black powder coating and laser-engraved markings for durability and corrosion resistance, combining strength with a professional appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for those familiar with steering components, requiring no drilling. However, some modifications to the sway bar end links may be necessary due to the oversized tie rod dimensions.
Warranty. Comes with a no fine print lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects, premature wear, and breakage.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1999-2006 4WD GM Sierra 1500 trucks equipped with oversized taper tie rods and centerlink steering. This product does not fit vehicles retaining OEM outer tie rod ends or those with a steering rack assembly.
