Designed with the help of advanced computer-aided technology, this intake tube complements your truck’s aggressive character. Its high-flow design allows more fresh, cold air to flow more freely into your engine which results in an increase in horsepower by up to 10.87 HP at 5038 RPM. This gives the power that your truck requires to conquer the most aggressive driving conditions.
Tuning Not Required. K&N engineered the Series 57 FIPK Intake Tube to provide optimal cooling performance using your truck’s factory settings. For this reason, installing it requires no tuning. However, AmericanTrucks recommends performing custom tuning to gain the best out of this intake tube.
Drop-In Air Filter. This intake tube is equipped with a high-quality, oiled cotton filter. It has a large surface area that captures more microparticles more efficiently than OE filters while also allowing air to freely flow into the engine. Also, this filter comes with a drop-in design which allows for simple installation. Finally, this filter can be used for up to 50,000 miles before servicing under normal highway use.
Industrial-Grade Intake Tube. This Intake Tube is manufactured using a roto-molded HDPE to ensure lasting durability. It is designed to resist the damaging effects of extreme heat so you can drive for miles in extreme driving conditions without worrying about engine failure.
Simple, Bolt-On Feature. Setting up this Intake Tube is easy with its bolt-on design. It directly replaces your truck’s intake tube and attaches to factory mounting locations without requiring any modifications.
