Power Improvement. The K&N O/E Replacement filter on your RAM isn’t the best you could get for the car. Not when there’s the FIPK Cold Air Intake that promises to give the truck the massive power boost it deserves. Fabricated from rationally-molded, non-metallic tubes, the Intake has the potential to curb air temperature, while reducing intake sound from the metal tube.
More Horse Power. The factory-installed K&N Air Filters are NOT recommended as they tend to create some restrictions between the air filters and the engine. The weakened link will then end up robbing the engine of the expected horsepower, thus cutting on both of its performance and acceleration power. Read this bearing in mind that the weak point only occurs between the factory-installed air filter and the engine. But once the air filters have been replaced by the aerodynamically engineered air tubes, a massive amount of air will be pumped into the engine.
100k Miles before Servicing. The new filters are way larger in size, and can as such cover up to 100,000 miles before they demand to be serviced. More interesting is that installing the filter is super easy. Speaking of which, all you’ll be required to have is a pliers, ratchet, screw driver and several wrenches.
Warranty Information. The intake is protected for a lifetime by the company against defective manufacturing.
