Blackhawk Air Filter. The air filter is cone-shaped and manufactured from an oil-free synthetic filter. You can use this filter for up to 100,000 miles before you need to service it, depending on the driving conditions. It's a washable filter that you can reuse for the lifetime of your vehicle. The black components included feature the high-flow air filter and heat shield. The air filter is washable and reusable.
Distinctive Design. K&N Filters has made an air intake system that is low restriction and effectively enables your truck's engine to intake more air than the stock intake allows. When more air is allowed in, your vehicle will have increased power and acceleration. The heavy-duty mandrel-bent aluminum air intake tube is designed to ensure a significant gain in horsepower. The tube has a textured black powder-coated finish on the intake tube. The K&N plate is welded onto the tube to provide a unique, high-performance look under the vehicle hood. The intake tube works well with the crank case vent hose and air temperature sensor.
