With an aerodynamic intake tube and a high-flow filter, your engine will receive bigger volumes of cooler, cleaner air. This, in turn, results in more available power to boost your truck in terms of torque and acceleration. You get the added bonus of a better-sounding engine, too.
Doesn’t Need a Custom Tune. Installing this cold air intake won’t need a custom tune for it to work. If you have other upgrades installed, however, a custom tune is highly recommended. This will ensure that all these upgrades will work together properly and deliver optimum performance.
High-Flow Oil-Free Synthetic Filter. K&N used a high-flow, oil-free filter for this cold air intake. Made from a washable synthetic material, this filter can last for about 100,000 before you need to clean it. This will help you save time, effort, and money. Moreover, this filter can remove microns-small contaminants to make sure that your engine gets a constant supply of clean air.
High-Density Polyethylene Intake Tube. This intake tube has an aerodynamic design, so that the air flows smoother and gets to the engine faster. In addition, its high-density polyethylene construction helps keep the intake air on the cool side. Meanwhile, the durable matte black finish gives the assembly a stylishly rugged look and enhanced strength.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. K&N designed this cold air intake for a quick and easy bolt-on installation that can be completed in about 1.50 hours. All you need are basic hand tools, since all the mounting hardware and detailed instructions are already included with your purchase.
Comes With a 10-Year/Million Mile Limited Warranty. K&N offers this cold air intake with a 10-year or a Million Mile limited warranty, whichever comes first.
