Description
Boost Your Truck’s Power. Give your Ford Super Duty’s engine more air to breathe with this K&N Blackhawk Cold Air Intake. It features a large inlet tube for faster airflow and an oversized filter and heat shield that keep the intake air clean and cool. With bigger volumes of cleaner, cooler air, your truck will have more horsepower and torque to take you further and faster than ever before.
No Need for Custom Tuning. This cold air intake is guaranteed to work with your vehicle’s factory tune. If you have other upgrades installed, however, it’s recommended to get a custom tune to reprogram the ECU. This will ensure that you’ll get the best performance out of every upgrade.
High-Flow, Oil-Free Synthetic Filter. For excellent filtration that lasts a long time, K&N used an oversized, high-flow filter for this cold air intake. This oil-free filter is made from a washable synthetic material that can last for up 100,000 miles before any cleaning is necessary. In addition, this filter is protected by a heat shield so that the air that flows through is cooled down further.
Mandrel-Bent Aluminum Intake Tube. K&N used a large aluminum inlet tube for this cold air intake, to facilitate unrestricted air entry and flow. This custom-designed tube is mandrel-bent to help reduce turbulence, which in turn helps the air flow faster and smoother. The tube comes in a matte black powder-coat finish for added durability and enhanced corrosion resistance. It also matches the all-black finish of the rest of the components, including the air filter, for a stylish and uniform look.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. This cold air intake doesn’t require cutting, drilling, or welding. Following the instructions and using the required hand tools and the enclosed hardware, you can accomplish the installation in about 1.50 hours.
Covered by a 10-Year/Million Mile Limited Warranty. K&N cold air intake systems are covered by 10-year or a Million Mile limited warranty, whichever occurs first. This warranty covers both material and construction defects and starts from the date of purchase. CARB Certified Under EO D-269-57. This K&N cold air intake is 50-state legal under EO D-269-57. You can freely drive your vehicle equipped with this cold air intake on any public road in the United States.
