Let Your V8 Breathe Easier. The K&N 57-3082 FIPK air intake system is a huge step up in airflow from the OE GMC Sierra 5.3L V8 intake. With this K&N intake, air restriction is greatly reduced, as is the turbulence of stock systems. Less turbulence and restriction lets your engine gulp air instead of sipping. And big gulps make big power gains all across the engine’s rev range.
Polyethylene Construction. The high-density polyethylene intake tube is light weight and is aerodynamically engineered to provide smooth airflow to the engine’s throttle body. The chrome-topped high-flow filter comes with a well-designed heat shield for a cooler, denser supply of air, which creates more horsepower with every breath. The tube allows for the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hoses, and it’s all made to all fit in the original equipment space. The large conical K&N air filter is washable and reusable and can last as long as 100,000 miles depending on your driving conditions.
