Description
More Horsepower. Replacing a battered or underwhelming throttle body is easier than you think. The Jet Performance Products Powr-Flo Throttle Body is an excellent aftermarket replacement due to its unique inlet design. Your Sierra 1500 will benefit from extra air velocity, thus improving the intake manifold’s performance and throttle responsiveness. The upgrade will give your car a boost in horsepower at all RPM levels.
Calibration Not Required. The Powr-Flo Throttle Body is designed to work with the stock settings of your Sierra 1500. No re-tune is necessary to run your vehicle, but doing a custom calibration might help you improve the throttle body’s performance.
Robust Construction. The Jet Performance Products Powr-Flo Throttle Body features a billet aluminum build, making this a very reliable upgrade for everyday use. The body finish is natural but should handle the elements, dust, and grime really well.
Bolt-On Installation. In installing the Powr-Flo Throttle Body, you’ll have to access the air intake assembly. Remove the vent hoses and disconnect the part from the airbox and throttle body. Then, remove the connector from the old throttle body, unscrew the bolts, and mount the Powr-Flo Throttle Body. You can use the stock hardware for this installation.
CARB Certified. This Jet Performance Products Powr-Flo Throttle Body has a Carb EO No. D-234-9 certification for the 2007-2008 V8 GMC Sierra 1500, making it legal to use in all 50 states.
Six-Month Limited Warranty. The Jet Performance Products offers this Powr-Flo Throttle Body with a limited warranty of 6 months covering materials and craftsmanship.
Application. The 87mm Power-Flo Body Throttle will fit the 2007-2008 V8 GMC Sierra 1500 model.
