PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONThis kit provides the opportunity for those who have factory installed manual temperature controls to take advantage of automatic temperature control when upgrading to the UConnect 4 8.4-inch UAV (1500 or HD), 12-inch UAX (1500 or HD), and UConnect 4 UBD Infotainment systems. This kit is all you’ll need! Customers will have the opportunity to set the desired temperature in their vehicle and the HVAC system will maintain that temperature automatically.*Those who have automatic temperature control capability currently in their truck will not need this kit as they will work plug & play with all of our Infotainment upgrades*If you instead own a 2019-2022 Ram 1500 Classic, CLICK HERE.THINGS TO KNOWThis upgrade will only provide driver-side or single-zone climate setting capability. At this time it is not possible to add passenger-side or dual-zone temperature settings so it is recommended that you select “Sync” within the climate section.In some 2019 and 2020 model years the HVAC may on occasion blow hot air when the desired temperature is set to 72 degrees or higher. To adjust the temperature to cool the driver must adjust the setting to “LO” first then back to their desired temperature.
