      High-Temperature Insulation. The Hushmat Ultra Hoodliner Heat Reflective Pads, measuring 12 inches by 23 inches, are engineered for the engine side of vehicle hoods to deliver effective heat insulation and sound damping in extreme temperature environments. These pads protect custom paint finishes and reduce engine compartment noise, enhancing the underhood environment by minimizing heat transfer and vibrations.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from a proprietary self-adhesive butyl rubber compound laminated with a flexible and paintable aluminum foil, these pads have a thickness of 2.0 mm. They feature a black polymer surface with a 4 mil silver aluminum backing. The heavy-duty, durable design allows easy molding to complex hood surfaces without requiring special tools or harmful chemical surface preparation.
