Description
Innovative Fuel Pickup. The Holley Fuel Tank Pickup; HYDRAMAT (8X8 CROSS) CENTER OUT - 3/8 IN is engineered to maintain consistent fuel delivery during demanding driving conditions such as hard cornering, acceleration, braking, and inclines. This product prevents fuel starvation and engine stalling by drawing fuel efficiently from nearly any portion of the tank or cell. Its unique design ensures fuel remains readily available to the pump, providing reliable performance in both stock tanks and racing fuel cells.
Construction and Appearance. Made from a highly absorbent material with tiny pores, this fuel pickup uses surface tension and fluid wicking to trap and supply fuel efficiently. The beige HydraMat is foldable for easy installation through various fuel cell openings. Its internal reservoir resists fuel slosh, maintaining effectiveness during dynamic vehicle movement.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and generally does not require drilling. The mat can be compressed and folded to fit through fuel cell openings, and secure attachment can be achieved using standard mounting options such as Click Bond stud kits.
Warranty. This product includes a limited manufacturer’s warranty for 90 days.
Application. Designed to fit flat bottom rectangular style fuel cells with minimum dimensions of 8 inches long by 8 inches wide cross. For optimal performance, the return fuel should discharge near the pickup, at least 1 inch above the mat. This product is compatible with alcohol, ethanol, methanol, E-85 fuels, and 2-cycle oil blends up to 20:1, but it is not suitable for most oils or diesel fuels.
