Innovative Fuel Pickup Solution. The Holley Fuel Tank Pickup; HYDRAMAT (15X8 CROSS) - OFFSET OUT - 3/8 is engineered to prevent fuel starvation under challenging driving conditions such as hard cornering, acceleration, braking, and inclines. It ensures a consistent fuel supply by drawing fuel from multiple areas within the tank, maintaining engine performance and preventing stalling.
Construction and Appearance. This product features a beige-colored, high-performance media with tiny pores designed to utilize surface tension and fluid wicking. The material forms an internal fuel reservoir that allows continuous fuel draw even when part of the mat is exposed to air. Its flexible design can be compressed and folded for easy installation in various fuel cell openings.
Installation. Installation is simple and does not require special sealing compounds for the female NPT thread, reducing the risk of fuel pump failure. The HydraMat can be folded or compressed to fit through fuel cell openings without extensive modifications.
Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer's limited 90-day warranty.
Application. Fits flat bottom rectangular style fuel cells with minimum dimensions of 15 inches long and 8 inches wide cross, excluding round or irregular-shaped tanks. For optimal performance, ensure the fuel return line is positioned near and at least one inch above the mat pickup.
