Description
Performance Torque Converter. The Hays Twister 3/4 Race Torque Converter with an 11-1/8 inch bolt pattern and 3200-3600 RPM stall speed is engineered for street and strip applications. It delivers improved power transfer and acceleration, optimizing performance for modified engines across varied driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a 9.6-inch diameter forged design, this torque converter is crafted with precision spray welding for enhanced strength and consistency. It incorporates heavy duty Torrington bearings and high flow vented stators to improve cooling and durability. Each unit is hand-built and thoroughly inspected to ensure quality and reliability.
Installation. Designed for a direct bolt-on installation with no drilling required, this torque converter provides a secure, precise fit without the need for modifications, facilitating straightforward installation on compatible transmissions.
Application. This torque converter fits the 1999 to 2013 Sierra 1500 models and supports 300mm LS engines. It is not recommended for use with nitrous oxide or trans-brakes and requires an external transmission cooler rated for at least 15,000 BTU or on vehicles with a minimum 18,000 GVW.
