Description
Increases Cold Air Intake. The Airaid Cold Dam Intake with a SynthaFlow Oiled Filter is engineered to boost your 6.2L Sierra's horsepower and torque by generating the coolest air intakes possible. This system retains your stock air filter's original location, but delivers a big boost of speed with the addition of a huge open-element air inlet.
The Cold Air Dam Advantage. The Cold Air Dam (CAD) protects the open-element air inlet of the system while providing a steady, free-flowing supply of cooler outside air. The CAD panels are mounted in the air box factory location and utilize the factory cold air inlet ducts, while adding additional cold air passages to the filter. These panels also isolate the filter from the hot engine compartment air by sealing to the underside of the hood via blade-style weather stripping.
Simple and Easy Installation, Maintenance. This system does not boast a lot of parts, but that's what gives it an advantage. With fewer parts to work with, the Airaid Cold Air Dam Intake with a SynthaFlow Oiled Filter installs fast and easy. An added plus: the air filter is washable and reusable, helping you maintain your vehicle with ease.
