It has a 3.42 gear ratio and is precision-machined to OE specifications with the use of the latest manufacturing technology. This results in higher heat tolerance, durability, and reduced road noise.

      High-Quality Gears. The G2 Rear Ring Gears and Pinions are made from forged 8620 steel. Precision CNC-machining and heat-treatment ensures that they fit perfectly for easy installation and have excellent durability. Additionally, the mating surfaces are lapped to ensure a smooth finish for reduced friction and road noise.

       Professional Installation Recommended. Installing the kit requires specialist equipment and high mechanical expertise. G2 recommends that installation is performed by a reputable professional mechanic.

      Backed by 10-Year Limited Warranty. G2 warrants that the 8.5 in. & 8.6 in. Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is free of defects in workmanship and materials. Exclusions will apply.
