Featuring an unrestricted design, these headers produce superior exhaust flow that significantly increases your vehicle’s horsepower and torque. This provides you with enough power to safely and easily conquer even the most power-intensive applications.
Head-Turning Sound. These Flowtech Shorty Headers are designed with 1.62-inch diameter primary tubes that provide unrestricted flow. This produces a head-turning sound each time you rev the vehicle.
Reuse Factory Catalytic Converters. These Shorty Headers retain the factory exhaust components of your vehicle, including the mid-pipe and catalytic converters. This maintains the street-legal status of your truck for worry-free driving in all 50 states.
Highly Durable Construction. The durable construction of these headers ensures years of reliable service. They are built from high-quality mild steel for unrelenting strength. They are also mandrel-bent for superb smoothness and consistent tubing diameter. Finally, these headers’ 0.37-inch-thick flanges are TIG-welded and machined to guarantee precision and leak-free performance.
Premium Silver Ceramic Finish. These Headers are coated with a premium silver ceramic finish. It helps minimize the heat that radiates from the headers, keeping the engine bay temperature low in a range of applications.
Requires Calibration. These Shorty Headers will require custom calibration during installation. This allows you to take full advantage of the power that these headers have to offer.
CARB-Certified. These Shorty Headers are 50-state smog legal under CARB E.O. number D-115-16. This lets you install them on pollution-controlled vehicles with peace of mind.
Application. These Flowtech 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers; Ceramic are designed to fit all 2003 to 2004 6.0L GMC Sierra 1500 models.
Technical Note. Please note that breaking in new engines with these ceramic-coated headers will damage the coating and void the warranties. For this reason, it is recommended to break in new engines using the old headers.
