Description
High-Performance Exhaust Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler; 3-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet delivers an aggressive sound with excellent flow characteristics. Designed to enhance the exhaust tone while improving overall exhaust system performance, it is ideal for high horsepower vehicles seeking a deep, powerful exhaust note.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, the muffler features fully MIG welded seams for long-lasting durability. It is finished with a high-temperature black paint that resists corrosion and adds a sleek appearance suitable for both street and strip use.
Installation. This muffler uses a slip-fit inlet and dual slip-fit outlets that allow for straightforward installation. Mounting requires new hangers, which are not included; however, no additional drilling is typically necessary for proper fitment.
Application. This muffler offers universal fitment with some adaptation required, fitting a wide range of 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, trucks, and SUVs.
