Long-Lasting Build Quality. The Flowmaster 13-Inch Muffler Body Heat Shield uses high-grade aluminum for long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance. This muffler heat shield provides a professional look when installed thanks to its pre-formed design. This muffler body heat shield fits 40 Series mufflers but may also fit oval mufflers that come with a body thickness of 4 to 5 inches and dimensions of 10-inches wide x 13-inches long. Finally, this heat shield features a brushed finish and a natural color.
Efficient Install Procedure. The Flowmaster 13-Inch Muffler Body Heat Shield is engineered to install efficiently using a pair of included stainless steel muffler straps. Simply lay the heat shield across the muffler body on the side that faces the floorboards and hold in place using the straps. Standard hand tools are all you need for installation and no modifications to either your vehicle or the muffler assembly are required.
