Description
Performance Two Chamber Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Center Oval Muffler; 3-Inch Inlet/3-Inch Outlet is engineered to improve exhaust scavenging, delivering enhanced engine performance and an aggressive sound. It is ideal for street, strip, and off-road applications where a balance of power and sound quality is desired.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features durable, fully MIG welded construction for long-lasting reliability. It is finished with high-temperature paint to resist corrosion and maintain a sleek appearance under extreme conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections. It uses new hangers, which are not included, so some adaptation may be necessary during mounting.
Application. This muffler fits a wide range of vehicles universally, though some adaptation may be required for specific configurations. It is suitable for various classic and late model muscle cars, trucks, and SUVs equipped with 4-, 6-, 8-, and 10-cylinder engines.
