The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler with a 3-inch inlet and dual 2.50-inch outlets is engineered to improve exhaust flow while delivering an aggressive sound. It is ideal for street and strip applications where enhanced exhaust efficiency and a performance-oriented exhaust note are desired.

Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 16-gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features a durable black high-temperature paint finish. The body is fully MIG welded, providing strength and corrosion resistance to withstand harsh automotive environments.

Installation. The muffler installs with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections and requires new hangers, which are not included. Installation is generally straightforward but may require minor adaptation depending on the vehicle, with no drilling typically necessary unless custom modifications are needed.

Application. Designed to fit a universal range of vehicles, including 4 and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip setups, as well as trucks and SUVs. Some adaptation may be necessary to ensure proper fitment.
