Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Center Oval Muffler with 2.25-Inch Inlet and 2.25-Inch Outlet is engineered to deliver a powerful, aggressive exhaust tone ideal for street and strip use. It enhances exhaust flow and provides excellent performance, especially for high horsepower and forced induction vehicles, while maintaining a deep, resonant sound.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded for strength and longevity. It is finished with a black high-temperature paint that resists heat and corrosion, retaining its appearance over time.
_x000D_Installation. Featuring slip-fit inlet and outlet connections with an offset inlet and center outlet, this muffler is designed for universal fitment and typically requires some adaptation for installation but does not require drilling.
_x000D_Application. Suitable for use on vehicles with 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip applications, and trucks/SUVs. Universal fitment may require some adaptation for proper installation.
