Description
Maximum Performance. Maximize the performance of your 6.2L Super Duty by upgrading to the Flowmaster Delta Force Cold Air Intake. This cold air intake combines a specially designed turbulence-free air inlet tube with an efficient high-flow air filter. This setup ensures your engine receives large amounts of clean cool air that’s free from contaminants, ensuring complete fuel combustion. This in turn gives you enhanced power and torque, enabling you to get yourself out of tight situations, especially when driving off-road.
No Tune to ECU Required. This cold air intake provides performance thanks to its advanced design, and won’t require your ECU to be re-tuned. However, an ECU re-tune in the future can always be beneficial for your truck, as this will maximize the performance of this intake with your engine.
High-Efficiency Oiled Air Filter Included. This cold air intake includes a highly efficient oiled air filter that’s capable of filtering out virtually all contaminants ensuring only clean air reaches your engine. This filter uses an 8-layer cotton gauze filter media that’s also easy to clean and re-oil using an appropriate air filter cleaning kit. Likewise, its tight pleats and molded base and top section provide the filter with excellent structural integrity.
Resilient Build Quality. This air intake features an inlet tube constructed from high-grade cross-linked polyethylene using a high-tech injection molding process. This method results in a component offering superior durability, reduced weight, and a turbulence-free inner structure. Likewise, its heat shield is made from high-grade steel protecting the air filter from damaging engine bay heat. Lastly, this intake assembly features a black finish.
Direct Install Procedure. This cold air intake assembly is designed to mount directly into your truck’s factory air system location. Mo modifications to your truck are necessary, and all mounting hardware is included for convenience.
