It is designed for cross-flow applications where the muffler is mounted transversely behind the rear end, offering an excellent replacement choice for muscle cars seeking enhanced sound and performance.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable 16 gauge 409 stainless steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded for maximum strength and longevity. Finished with high-temperature black paint, it features an oval shape and a chambered cross-flow design optimized for aggressive exhaust sound and performance reliability.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires standard muffler mounting procedures with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections. No drilling is necessary, though new hangers are required and not included with the muffler.
