Description
Delta Flow Muffler Design. The Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow Offset/Center Oval Muffler; 2.50-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet features a three-chamber design with an internal tuning chamber to effectively reduce interior sound resonance while maintaining the signature exterior exhaust tone. It is engineered to provide moderate sound with mild interior resonance, making it suitable for street rod cars and trucks. This muffler is designed to enhance horsepower, torque, and overall engine efficiency.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge 409S stainless steel with full MIG welds, this muffler offers maximum strength and longevity. It comes with a high-temperature painted black finish that resists heat and corrosion for a clean, durable look appropriate for performance applications.
Installation. The muffler uses slip-fit inlet and outlet connections with a 2.50-inch diameter, supporting both clamp-on and weld-on installation methods. The inlet is offset, and the outlet is center located. While it is designed for universal fitment, some adaptation may be required during installation to achieve an optimal fit. Clamps, hangers, and heat shields are not included.
