The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Offset Oval Muffler with 3-Inch Inlet and 3-Inch Outlet delivers aggressive sound and improved exhaust flow for street and strip performance. It enhances engine scavenging to boost horsepower and torque while reducing unwanted interior resonance for a mild exterior tone. This muffler fits a wide range of vehicles including muscle cars, trucks, and street rods.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, this chambered muffler features Flowmaster’s proprietary Delta Flow technology. It is fully MIG welded for strength and coated with high-temperature black paint for corrosion resistance and a sleek, aggressive look.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills. The muffler includes slip-fit and clamp-on or weld-on inlet and outlet connections. Additional hangers may be needed for custom setups, as hangers and clamps are not included.
