Description
Improves Recovery Success. Featuring a 16,000 lb maximum load rating, the Factor 55 Silver FlatLink has the robustness to get your 1999-2024 GMC Sierra 1500 out of just about any tight spot you might find yourself in. This heavy-duty component is surprisingly light and handy thanks to its billet aluminum construction, and is rust-proof and corrosion-free even without its handsome silver powder-coat finish. Its flat design means it's just 1.75 inches thick. Able to fold against the fairlead, the part is compatible with both roller and hawse fairleads and doesn't interfere with fairlead mounting points for the front license plate. Capturing the eye of a 3/8" synthetic rope or steel cable without splicing, it makes a firmer attachment for recovery straps and lines than a hook.
Hardy, Practical. Built from high quality 6000 series aluminum – originally designed to meet the strength standards of Army vehicle towing – the Factor 55 Silver FlatLink can hold 3/4" screw pin shackles and D-rings. Ultimate failure occurs only at 40,000 lbs or more. The double shear pin that secures the recovery line or strap is 5/8" in diameter and fastens with a snap ring for easy opening and closing. The component is covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the manufacturer.
