Description
Folding Shackle Link. Brilliantly colored and proudly made in America, the Factor 55 Red FlatLink is a handy folding shackle mount that lets you get rid of the usual winch hook for a safer, sturdier recovery setup on your GMC Sierra. Enabling the use of screw pen shackles that won't fray recovery ropes or straps, and that retain the rope eye even during slack winching cycles, this massive but lightweight aluminum shackle mount works with roller or hawse fairleads. The double shear pin captures both synthetic ropes and steel cables with maximum 3/8 inch diameter. The EPDM rubber guards ensure the finish on your fairleads won't get scratched or chipped.
Made Tough. Factor 55 machines the FlatLink out of rustproof and corrosion resistant 6000 series billet aluminum. Its bright red powder-coated finish adds an extra layer of protection and looks good, too. The double shear pin is 5/8 inch in diameter and manufactured from grade 5 steel. This component has a max load rating of 16,000 pounds and experiences ultimate failure at more than 40,000 pounds. Both 3/4 inch shackles and D-rings can be used with this shackle mount. It carries a one-year warranty.
