Premium Exhaust Heat Management. The Titanium Exhaust Wrap; 2-Inch x 50-Foot; Black is designed to efficiently manage exhaust heat by insulating headers and exhaust pipes. It helps prevent heat soak, protects heat-sensitive underhood components, and improves overall vehicle performance by maintaining higher exhaust gas velocity and reducing underhood temperatures.

Construction and Appearance. This wrap is made from pulverized lava rock fibers woven into a proprietary diagonal pattern, ensuring superior strength, flexibility, and durability. It has a distinctive black carbon fiber look that fades naturally to the original titanium wrap color over time. The wrap withstands extreme temperatures up to 1800°F continuously and intermittent heat up to 2500°F.

Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling. The wrap is pliable and secures tightly without pre-wetting, allowing it to conform to tight bends around exhaust pipes. After heat cycling, the fibers lose flexibility, so removal or repositioning is not recommended.

Application. The wrap fits universal applications, though some adaptation may be necessary. Wrapping titanium exhaust systems is not recommended because heat retention may cause brittleness and cracking. Avoid wrapping catalytic converters, flex-pipes, or flex-joints due to potential damage from heat or structural issues.
