The Titanium Exhaust Wrap (2-Inch x 50-Foot) is designed to insulate exhaust components by withstanding extreme temperatures up to 1800°F continuously and 2500°F intermittently. It reduces heat transfer, protects components, and improves performance by maintaining exhaust gas velocity.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from pulverized lava rock woven into a durable proprietary diagonal weave, this wrap offers enhanced pliability and durability. It features a distinctive hi-tech carbon fiber look and resists chemical spills and vibration-related wear without requiring additional coatings.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward, with no need to pre-wet the wrap or drill any holes. Its pliable nature allows easy application around tight bends, making it suitable for most exhaust components except flex joints and titanium pipes.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Fits universal exhaust components and is suitable for most automotive and motorcycle uses. Note that wrapping titanium exhaust systems is not recommended to avoid premature metal cracking, and catalytic converters should not be wrapped due to risks of overheating and reduced converter life.
