      Description

      Seat Harness Mounting Reinforcement. The Seat Harness Mounting Reinforcement Plate provides critical reinforcement when installing a safety harness in locations not originally designed by the vehicle manufacturer. It protects the vehicle’s sheet metal from damage and tearing by distributing the load from bolt or eye-bolt mounts to a strong steel backing.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from a sturdy 1/8" thick steel plate measuring 2" by 3", the plate has a 7/16"-20 nut welded securely in place. It is finished with a black powder coat that offers corrosion resistance and a professional look.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward but requires access to the underside of the mount point to position the reinforcement plate correctly. Basic mechanical skills and potentially drilling are necessary depending on the mounting location.
