The Floor and Tunnel Shield II; 42-Inch x 48-Inch; Black effectively blocks engine and exhaust heat from entering vehicle interiors, protecting sensitive components from damage. Designed for use on firewalls, transmission tunnels, floors, and similar areas, it offers excellent heat control while maintaining a sleek, black appearance.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This shield features a 10 mil embossed aluminum face bonded to a 1/8-inch composite glass-fiber core, finished with a proprietary high-temperature black coating that ensures durability and flexibility. The aggressive, pressure-sensitive adhesive backing secures the shield firmly, resisting wind and water exposure without compromising adhesion.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with its peel-and-stick adhesive backing, eliminating the need for drilling or complex attachment methods. The material’s flexibility enables easy shaping and trimming to fit various contours.
_x000D_Application. Fits universal applications with some adaptation required. It should not be applied directly onto exhaust components due to the extreme heat exposure in those areas.
