Strong Construction. Richmond Gear crafts a strong 10-bolt Rear Ring and Pinion Set. It is formed from high quality 8620 steel and undergoes a heat treatment process for superior durability. This set features ring gear diameters of 8.5 in. and 8.625 in. to accommodate your rig's rear axle size.
Take it to a Pro. This rear upgrade is not ideal for someone with little to no previous knowledge of differentials. The complexity of the installation means it is best left to the professionals (mechanic or service provider). Swapping out the OE set for this EXCEL pair takes about 4 hours.

Ring and Pinion Kit against defects in material and workmanship for 1 year or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first) from the purchase date.
