Sturdy Steel. This Richmond Gear 10-Bolt Set is made from premium 8620 steel that is heat-treated for case hardening. The result is a strong, highly durable material. The ring gear and its pinion gear mate conveniently come together, for your convenience. This set is fit to rear axles that accept 8.5 in. or 8.625 in. ring gear diameters.
Experienced Installer. This 3.08 Rear Ring and Pinion Kit is not recommended for a first time ring and pinion installer as it is an intricate process. For this reason, we suggest a professional perform the modification. Even long-time car buffs know installing a rear ring and pinion set can be tricky. Its intricacy means that it is best left to a professional mechanic or service provider.
Warranty Included. Richmond Gear includes a 1 year or 50,000-mile warranty (the first of the two to happen) on this EXCEL Ring and Pinion Kit. As there may be limitations on the coverage, please refer to the manufacturer's website for specifics.
