Description
Enhanced Off-Road Performance. The FOX Factory Series 2.5 Reservoir shocks are purpose-built to dramatically improve ride quality and handling when venturing off pavement. These shocks are derived from race-tested designs and provide superior damping control, delivering outstanding performance in challenging conditions. Their robust construction allows enthusiasts to confidently upgrade their vehicle's suspension for demanding environments.
Construction and Appearance. These shocks feature a smooth bore 2.5-inch zinc-plated seamless steel body, finished with a double-clear coating to ensure long-lasting durability. The components include black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum parts for precision and strength. The piston design is race-developed with a high-flow profile, and valving is specifically tuned per application. The shaft is a 7/8-inch hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel, providing exceptional wear resistance. The shocks are completed with a striking external reservoir that enhances both cooling capacity and aesthetics.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with bolt-on eyelet mounts at both top and bottom. No drilling or additional modifications are required, allowing for a simple upgrade by those comfortable with basic suspension work.
Application. Designed specifically for 09-18 4WD RAM 1500 models without Air Ride suspension, these shocks do not fit Air Ride equipped vehicles and are intended for 0-1.5 inch lift height setups.
