How to Install Curt Manufacturing 5-Way Flat Connector - Retains OEM 7-Way Connector on your Ram
Shop Parts in this Guide
1. Locate the vehicle’s factory 7-Way attached on the drivers side near the hitch (A).
2. Separate the vehicles connector from the back side of the factory 7-Way (B). Take care not to damage the locking tabs.
3. Insert the T-Connector end between the separated connectors (C). Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
4. Route the 5-Flat to the center of the vehicle and secure in a safe out of the way location using the cable ties provided.
